Whyte Horse Winery

Whyte Horse Winery is located at the charming lake resort community of Monticello, Indiana. The facility is set in a renovated 1886 farmhouse decorated with elegant woodwork and antique furnishings. The winter operating hours are Tuesdays through Saturday from 11:00am - 6:00pm, from noon - 5:00pm on Sunday. There are 2 separate tasting rooms along with a banquet room. A lot of people have chosen this beautiful vineyard for their weddings. There are also 2 annual car shows that take place here during the summer time.


Whyte Horse winery uses oak barrel fermentation as often possible for their wine. They specializes fruit-forward wines. For example, their Chardonnay is malolactic fermented, finished sur-lee, and fermented in 100% French oak barrels. And their Blackberry is one of the award-winning wines in the State of Indiana.  They currently have fourteen wines, with our holiday wine, and Jingles.

Introducing Courtyard's very own Bistro To-Go! - Join us for Dinner or Enjoy it To-Go

At the Courtyard by Marriott, guests are invited to call from their room and place their order, during Bistro operating hours.  They can then pick up the meal at the Bistro and enjoy it in the privacy of their won room. It is dinner only, which is 5:00PM - 10:00PM every evening.  Just view your room's Tri-fold Bistro Menu and give us a call.

During this freezing winter weather, may I be so bold to recommend a hot cup of baked potato soup with a chicken ciabatta sandwich while staying in your nice, warm, and cozy hotel room? And perhaps a warm cookie for the perfect finish.  Alternatively, the barbeque chicken pizza and some of our seasonal shrimp potstickers is a nice change of pace.
