Lafayette-West Lafayette


“Two Great Cities, One Great University” is a phrase used to describe the Lafayette-West Lafayette area. Activities range from historical and architectural landmarks to nightlife including wineries and breweries. Fun for the whole family can be head in the area. Columbian Park


Columbian Park is a park with different features to offer for some fun in the sun this summer! With Tropicanoe Cove, Columbian Park Zoo, Loeb Stadium, and other facilities this is a park worth the visit. The park is located right in Lafayette, only a short drive from the hotel. Columbian Park allows for many different types of relaxation and is great for the whole family to enjoy for the day or weekend!

Wolf Park


Wolf Park is a place for education, research, and fun.  Located just twenty minutes from the hotel it is a great way to spend the afternoon. They offer guided tours, howl nights, fox talks and other special events that allow for interaction with the animals. What better way to spend an afternoon than learning about and interacting with gray wolves, coyotes, red foxes, gray foxes, and bison?

Star of America to Indy Airport


Many guests of the Courtyard by Marriott are traveling into the area through the Indianapolis Airport. A great way to save money from renting a car would be to take a shuttle and what a great convenience that the Star of America Shuttle is there to serve you. The Shuttle departs the airport every two hours on the even hours to travel to the Courtyard and then departs the Courtyard every two hours on the even hours to travel back to the airport. The Shuttle makes no stops between the Courtyard and Airport so you can be sure they will always be on time.

Booking your seat online before hand will ensure you have a seat and this can be done on the shuttle website. Guests of the Courtyard are welcome to use the business center on the first floor to book their seat.

Triple XXX


A diner that has been featured on Food Network’s Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives sounds like a great place for your next meal. Triple XXX is located in West Lafayette and offers many different chop steaks that will be sure to quench your hunger. The Drew Brees is always a crowd pleaser. David Boudia has recently gotten his own signature item on the menu. This family restaurant has their very own Triple XXX Root Beer that goes perfect with every meal.

Lafayette Farmers Market


The Greater Lafayette area offers three farmer markets every week from May all the way through October. This is a great way to get fresh veggies, fruits, baked goods, and other fresh items for your kitchen! There is always music going on to help you enjoy your time picking and choosing your goods. Not looking for items to use to cook? You can also find grab and go type meals such as a bowl of soup or a sandwich.

The market occurs at three different locations throughout the week. Wednesday afternoon it takes place at a park in West Lafayette, Thursday late morning is on Purdue University’s campus, and Saturday morning happens in downtown Lafayette. Star of America to Purdue


Star of America is a great shuttle service that picks up right in front of the Courtyard by Marriott and takes you right on to Purdue University’s campus. Save the hassle of finding a parking spot or trying to drive around campus. Book a night, relax with us and let the Star of America drivers take you back and forth to campus. Stops departing from the Courtyard to campus leave every two hours on the odd hours. Stops include the Follett’s Purdue West, Tarkington Hall, and Purdue Memorial Union. Service runs every two hours, on the even hours to come back to the hotel from campus. On Purdue’s website, http://www.purdue.edu/ , you will be able to obtain a campus map to further prepare for yourself for your trip.
